So about a month ago, we moved into our new apartment. We really like the apartment, but it came with a new challenge – the bedroom is quite small. There’s room for our queen size bed and not a whole lot more. So whereas before we each had a nightstand and a lamp on each side, a dresser, a plant in the corner… in this new space I had to get a little creative.
One of the solutions to the change in space I came up with is to have wall mounted light sconces instead of lamps.
I had always wanted to try installing sconces actually, because they look really elevated and designer. So this was the perfect opportunity to do that, since we really didn’t have the space to put lamps on the floor or on any surfaces.
I got these beautiful, amazing quality sconces on Amazon. They seriously look and feel like they’re from pottery barn!
We mounted them on each side just above our bed, and they are perfect.
